For years, the White Sands Balloon Invitational has brought together families, businesses, pilots, volunteers, and visitors to celebrate the beauty of Southern New Mexico. Each Fall, colorful hot air balloons rise against the breathtaking backdrop of White Sands, creating an experience unlike anywhere else in the world. Hosted by RE/MAX of Alamogordo join us on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at White Sands National Park starting at 7 AM. We discuss flying saucers and other high strangeness at Otero Arts located on the corner of 12th & Indiana Ave in Alamogordo NM. MUFON invites like-minded individuals with an interest in local aerial phenomena to join our free meetings on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 11 am.
