Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Splicing (CFOS/S) $895
This 2 day course includes a complete, in-depth, PowerPoint presentation explaining the importance of high performance splicing and further details the points necessary to achieve these splices. An overview of OTDR functions and trace understanding is also provided during this presentation. 85% hands-on classroom activities will provide training in both fusion and mechanical splicing of either single or multimode fiber optic cable.

Alamogordo’s MUFON chapter has a NEW meeting location for Coffee Cups & Flying Saucers in the Otero Artspace building on the corner of 12th & Indiana. Everyone’s opinion is welcome without judgement regarding flying saucers, UFO, UAP, local sightings, Alamogordo aerial phenomenon history & unexplained experiences. The discussion is led by MUFON’s New Mexico Assistant State Director who brings the coffee. There is plenty of on street parking and our monthly meetings are open to the public free of charge. The Mutual UFO Network welcomes open discussion with all likeminded individuals.
