NAAS is launching a new event for 2026: the NAAS Leadership Summit, taking place July 24–25 in Chicago, Illinois, in advance of the NCSL conference. This free, two-day gathering is designed to bring together academy leaders from across the country to connect, share strategies, and strengthen the network. Registration is now open. Each dues-paying member academy may send up to two representatives, and those current on dues are eligible for travel support for one attendee. This is a new opportunity to engage directly with peers and shape the future of the NAAS community. Learn more and register.

Kentucky Academy of Science Annual Meeting
The Kentucky Academy of Science will hold its Annual Meeting November 6–7, 2026, in Murray, Kentucky. The event brings together more than 500 scientists from across the state and region for research presentations, networking, and professional engagement. Attendees can present a poster or talk, connect with colleagues and graduate programs, and hear from a keynote speaker while visiting the Murray State University campus. Abstract submission opens September 1 and closes October 1. Learn more.
