We hope that you had a wonderful and restful holiday season! We look forward to continuing to strengthen our bodies, minds, and relationships in the coming year. 

 

As a reminder, we require all members to have a signed medical form on file within the last 3 years.

 

Here are some tips for completing your medical release form: 

  • Save the form and submit it to your medical provider online through your patient portal
  • Print and take a copy with you to your next oncology or primary care appointment
  • Drop off the form at your physician's office and ask to have it delivered to your physician's nurse to complete
  • If you're working with a social worker, you can give, email or fax the form directly to them

Call for Volunteers!

We are seeking additional volunteers to assist with Team Survivors' social media.

 

We are looking for someone who is willing to post at least 1 engaging post per week to our members. There may be times during the year that more posts are needed to engage members.

We always welcome volunteers, if you have a passion that could be helpful to our organization please reach out!

If you are passionate about Team Survivor, please share our mission with others! We are a volunteer run non-profit organization that requires community partnerships and donations to be sustainable. 

 

Team Survivor's Mission

 

Team Survivor empowers all women who are going through or have had cancer to thrive through fitness and community. 

We partner with locally-owned gyms, studios, and other organizations throughout the greater Austin area to offer fitness classes at no cost to our members - from yoga, tap, jazz, Zumba, and spin classes to strength & conditioning at the gym, group walking/hiking, rowing both on the water and indoors, and more.

We welcome female-identifying and nonbinary survivors and thrivers from all walks of life, at any fitness level, who have had any type of cancer diagnosis, whether recently diagnosed, in treatment, or a 20+ year survivor.

"Grit ATX has had a partnership with Team Survivor since 2023.  They offer spin and Pilates classes. The instructors are next-level knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely invested in everyone in the room. The workouts are challenging and can be modified to your needs. The vibe is welcoming, inclusive and supportive. I love that the instructors know me by name!  And I just completed my 200th class with them and will continue this journey to get stronger."
