The board has been considering a change in our website. We are looking for recommendations or options. We will research the cost involved. We are also considering paying an individual to manage our current website as well as Facebook / Instagram, etc.

Ongoing business. Elaine F surveyed the vendors from MITP. She received 12 responses. Most were happy with the raffle that brought more people to their tables. They were happy with the board and all that responded said they would return next year.

Elections - Mike W. The nominations were completed on 10/31/25. President - only Jackie was nominated, Treasurer - Mike W as Joe has decided not to continue for the next 2 years. We have 1 trustee position open and 2 nominees. Lisa Clark & Elaine Fleming.

Once the meeting has completed today, you should receive an email with a link to vote for your choice of trustee. One vote per membership. The winner will be announced at our December meeting. The new board starts January 1, 2026.

Evening meeting - we like to have an evening meeting at least twice per year. The next meeting will be Wednesday, December 10 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the farmhouse. The fire marshall, John Smith, will be attending to give a presentation. Food & drink will be provided. Lisa Clark will chair the food/drink portion of the event. Please let us know if you will be attending so we can get a head count.

Goodfellows newspaper is selling Thanksgiving weekend to help raise funds for “no child without a Christmas”. The GCBA is taking a full page ad that lists every current GCBA member along with your phone number.

Radcliff community center is on Radcliff across from the middle school. They will have a Christmas Tree display that any business can participate in. The GCBA will be submitting a tree that will be decorated with member’s business cards and “shop small” merchandise. Amy Smith will chair the tree and provide a tree we can borrow. Please supply us with your card if you would like it included on the tree.

Joe Bartley spoke with a representative from Constant Contact. They are offering a discount to any member of the GCBA. There is a trial period of $12 per month to check it out.
