Treasurer’s report - Paper copies on the table for all to review.
President’s report - President’s committee - this is a group of Presidents for all the local non-profit groups that will meet up quarterly to share ideas, share supplies, share dates for upcoming events so we’re not scheduling them on the same dates.
MITP wrap up - We think it was very successful. The crowds were larger this year. We discussed as a board that we will continue to have 3 events next summer and will be looking for new bands to give some variety to our residents. Elaine Fleming will be sending a survey to all the vendors to gauge their experience and if it was worth their time. Also requesting input with any new ideas. We’re also exploring on how to get more volunteers to work MITP in the future - possibly donating to another non profit if they offer to volunteer.
Mike W - 2026 elections are coming up. This year we are voting for the President, Treasurer, and the 1 year Trustee. Nominations starting today after the meeting until November 13.
Once candidates have accepted their nominations, they will have 5 minutes at our November meeting to campaign on their own behalf. Winners will be announced at the December meeting. Joe will not be running again for treasurer this term.
Audit of the GCBA books. Faylene Chung conducted our audit and everything was in balance and acceptable. She did a 2 year audit for us, and we thank her for her time..
