Presidents report:
We’re all volunteers - and we’re growing. Please help us out, offer to volunteer.
We attended a grand opening at the realtors office where Hershey’s shoes used to be. The office is beautifully decorated.
MITP is almost here!
Save the date cards are still available.
Vendor show - we have approximately 25 vendors, but not all will be at all 3 shows.
Contest - we printed a passport that they can take to each vendor, who will initial them. Once they’ve gathered their initials, they can bring their card to the GCBA table and we’ll convert them to raffle tickets.
Merch - with our July band being the Magic Bus, we purchased merch - tye dyed bandannas, head bands, round glasses, peace sign necklaces, etc to sell at each event. We will encourage our attendees to dress in hippy garb in July.
The GCBA table will be the large concrete counter at the north side of the park. All the 50/50 tickets and merch will be at this table. This is where the raffle tickets will be turned in as well. We also have bags to pass out to anyone who wants them to use to pick up merch from all the vendors.
The main bathrooms at the park have been given a mural paint job - looks awesome
Gary from the DDA inserted poles into the ground at GC Park at each entrance which will be where our new banners will be placed. No more hammering in the poles. These inserts will be available to any other groups that want to hang a banner. Pop a Card in your yard will also install the sign at the commons at ford / middlebelt the week of each MITP event.
Cornhole - GC Mini Golf is sponsoring a corn hole at the Park for any attendees to use free of charge.
