Fully Furnished Ministries is all about connecting families needing furniture with furniture donations from their Atlanta neighbors. In December 2023, our organization awarded them a $93,000 grant that helped them purchase a new vehicle to transport furniture and supplies to refurbish donated items. This month, we have the chance to support them again in two ways.
August 24th-26th Bedding Drop Off:
If you have bedding or other household staples, we are collecting donations at members homes to then bring to the Fully Furnished warehouse. Members, please see your email for details on the drop-off locations with member addresses and phone numbers.
Bedding Donation Items: Fully Furnished is seeking twin, full, or queen sheets, comforters, or blankets. (They do not accept king size because most homes do not have room for king beds.) Items may be new or gently used and will be laundered by FFM. Please label the size and place in a garbage bag for drop off.
Other Donation Items: FFM provides 'Welcome Home’ baskets to all recipients that include household basics. Items needed include toilet paper, paper towels, tide laundry detergent, dish liquid (e.g., Dawn), dishwasher soap, sponges, Comet, Windex, toilet bowl cleaner, Clorox wipes, and tall kitchen garbage bags (13 gallons).
August 27th Warehouse Service Event, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm:
We have limited spots available to join us for a member service event. We will be sorting and organizing bedding, restoring and painting furniture, and assembling donation baskets.
