Wendy believes strongly in the power of
generosity, and her creation of Impact100 brought a powerful model to the giving circle movement that has since given away more than $123 million to worthy causes throughout the world. She has worked tirelessly to share her philanthropy expertise through speaking engagements, volunteer work, and her latest book Invitation to Impact.
In 2021, Wendy was recognized by Forbes as one of 50 women over 50 who are leading the world in impact. We are proud to present Wendy as our speaker as she is a true inspiration, philanthropist, and a role model for women everywhere.

Carla has been in multiple roles
within Impact100 MKE and now is stepping up to lead the organization next year! She has loved working with all the different teams from chairing the Annual Awards Celebration to leading Programming and Outreach during the pandemic. She would tell new members to join a grant
committee. “You meet all these amazing
nonprofits serving the community you
never knew existed!” Carla was introduced to Impact100
Greater Milwaukee at the first Annual Awards Celebration by Louise Berg and Lisa Mauer and joined immediately! |
When not volunteering at Impact100,
Carla enjoys meeting up with friends over a nice glass of red wine. She and her husband live in Wauwatosa. They love traveling.
Carla hopes to inspire other women to
learn about what Impact100 has to offer. And she hopes they join, increasing the pool of grant money that goes into our community. |

| Support Impact100 Greater Milwaukee!
As you know, $100 of your annual member dues goes to operating costs for Impact100. We also rely on local sponsorships to subsidize the member contribution, and bring events to the Greater Milwaukee community such as our Wendy Steele Kick-Off event, Global Day of Impact, Helping Hands, and other recruitment events. Last year, we had nearly $50,000 in sponsorships! Think of the potential members we could reach with more, and the more members we have the more grant money we can award back to our community!

Are you planning to renew using a Donor-Advised Fund? A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a charitable investment account for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations you care about, like Impact100 Greater Milwaukee.
We have been advised by DAF firms that their donors should schedule requests early because processing takes time. And the mail takes time. So, please begin the process for renewing your membership ASAP!
