We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join McKinstry as a member of our Financial Analysis team. If you think analytically, have strong attention to detail, and communicate well with others, then this may be the job for you. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation of corporate annual budgeting, multi-departmental budgeting, and the business plan process. The key responsibilities for this role include financial planning and financial development and support.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the development of the organization’s finance policies. In this role, you will prepare the design and development of enterprise-wide technology-enabled business intelligence capabilities and solve problems of diverse scope where analysis requires the evaluation of complex factors. The person in this role will also build complex financial models, draft comprehensive budgets, and assist in complex factors.
Financial Development and Support
In this role, you are responsible for monthly and quarterly department financial data analysis, business plans, and financial reporting. In addition, you will interface with departments, senior management, and business users to map out document business reporting requirements.
What we would like to see from you:
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience requires
Five (5) years of experience in financial analysis and data modeling techniques required
Five (5) years of experience in data mining, data analysis and data modeling techniques required.
Prior Business Intelligence development and design is preferred
Experience with SQL databases, IBM AS400 systems, and a DB2 database is preferred.
Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative data collection, metrics & analysis is preferred
Knowledge in developing reports from scratch using Business Objects or Crystal Reports preferred.
