As forensic practitioners, we know how important it is to produce a high quality work product.  However, it is often the case that once a technician exits a training program, the way they are conducting casework is no longer meticulously checked.  So once technicians get comfortable in their role, how do we ensure that they continue to use the high quality procedures they were taught in training?

This 4 hour comprehensive webinar is all about maintaining (or improving) the quality of the performance of your forensic technicians.  Topics will include:
- What kind of quality assurance processes/procedures should my unit be using?
- How do we maintain a high quality work product?
- What role does quality assurance play in training?
- What type of audits should I be conducting and how often?
- If we do have a quality problem how do we:
          - Find the root cause of the problem
          - Address the problem
          - Correct the problem

Attendees must be able to access the Demio webinar platform to attend the course and Google Forms to complete the final exam. Please note that the Demio platform is only supported on Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Microsoft Edge (Internet Explorer is NOT supported). If you are using a work computer, you may also want to check with your IT department to ensure there are no firewalls for Demio or Google Forms.

This is a live webinar and must be attended live to receive a certificate. Instructor-student interaction will be ongoing throughout the course. Students will be expected to participate just as they would in a face-to-face course.
