ABOUT THE PRESENTATION |  Industry 4.0 is about Process Data and Analytics.  This presentation will be a high level introduction to those who may not have much experience with the application of Industry 4.0 in their foundry position.  They will focus on using data analytics to efficiently solve problems in any area of the foundry, and the importance it has on the future of the industry.  The presenters will share some programs they use and show examples of projects at Neenah Foundry.

ABOUT THE PANELISTS | Lizeth Medina Balliet, Manager of Quality and Technical Services, Neenah Foundry.  Lizeth obtained a B.S.in Materials Science and Engineering with a minor in Metallurgy from Instituto Tecnologico de Saltillo.  She also has a Masters in Engineering Productivity and Quality Systems from Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Saltillo.  She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, was the 2019 STEP AHEAD Honoree, is a Member of the Ductile Iron Society Board of Directors, Chairperson  for the Research Committee for the Ductile Iron Society, Member of the FEF Board of Directors, Secretary of the AFS Cast Iron Executive committee, and is Secretary Elect  for Women in Metalcasting. ... John Falecki, Quality Metallurgical Engineer, Neenah Foundry.  John hold a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from Michigan Technological University.  He serves as Secretary on the Cast Iron Production and Processing (5P) committee. ... Ryan Spaulding, Quality Metallurgical Engineer, Neenah Foundry.  Ryan holds a B.S in Materials Science & Engineering from Michigan Technological University.  He serves as the Secretary of the Cast Iron Research Committee (5R).
