KCM Virtual: KCM Favorites - Books that we LOVE - with KCM Executive Director Kelly DeLong (2020)
Description:
The KCM is excited to provide week 5 of Virtual Training Sessions for math teachers. These virtual training sessions connect math teachers through ZOOM meetings. ZOOM is free and easy to use via your smart phone or computer. Just click on the ZOOM link provided for each session at the time the session is scheduled to start and you will be connected to the KCM facilitator and your fellow math teachers.
WEEK 5's sessions are called KCM Favorites and will discuss five books that KCM personnel absolutely love and want to share with you!
KCM Executive Director Kelly DeLong will start this week with one of her favorites.
DATE: MONDAY, April 20: Thinking Together: 9 Beliefs for Building a Mathematical Community by Rozlynn Dance and Tessa Kaplan.
TIME: 2:00 - 2:30 pm EASTERN TIME (which is 1:00 - 1:30 pm CENTRAL)

TUESDAY: April 21: Routines for Reasoning: Fostering the Mathematical Practices in All Students by Grace Kelemanik, Amy Lucenta & Susan Creighton. Facilitated by KCM Director Dee Crescitelli.
WEDNESDAY: April 22: Developing Number Knowledge by Robert Wright, David Ellemor-Collins and Pamela Tabor. Facilitated by KCM Regional Consultant Cindy Aossey.
THURSDAY: April 23: Math Fact Fluency by Jennifer Bay-Williams and Gina Kling. Facilitated by KCM Regional Consultant Bonny Davenport.
FRIDAY: April 24: Taking Action Implementing Effective Math Teaching Practices in Grades 9-12 by Melissa Boston, Frederick Dillon, Margaret S. Smith; Series Editor Stephen Miller. Facilitated by KCM Regional Consultant Leah Dix White.
