Please join the NWAFP on February 28 where we will host a session about U.S. Real-Time Payments (RTP®). Stephen Lenssen and Anthony Amodeo from Bank of America Merrill Lynch will discuss the benefits of U.S. Real-Time Payments, the first new clearing system in the U.S. in more than 40 years. Join us to learn more about:

  • Benefits of RTP, including 24/7/365 connectivity, speed and enhanced messaging
  • Use cases for how RTP can add value to all business and their clients
  • How RTP will affect treasury operations, from statements to staffing

 
Featured Speakers:

Anthony Amodeo, is a Vice President, Real-Time Payments Product Manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Anthony is a product manager in the Global Transaction Services Core Cash Management team, with specific responsibility for the development and launch of U.S. Real-Time Payments. Since summer 2017, Anthony has contributed to Bank of America’s effort to join the first new clearing system in the United States in over 40 years, while developing a globally-consistent strategy for faster payment capabilities around the world.
Prior to joining the Real-Time Payments team, Anthony held positions as the COO for Large Corporate North America Treasury Sales and as a Liquidity Product Sales Specialist. His liquidity coverage responsibilities included non-bank financial institutions, public sector entities, and the full spectrum of industries and segments in Canada.
 
Stephen Lenssen, is a Vice President, Treasury Sales Officer, CTP, at Bank of Ameria Merrill Lynch. Stephen’s primary responsibilities include providing treasury solutions to new clients, supporting existing clients, in all aspects of available working capital tools. In his current role, Stephen is the treasury sales expert in the management of your working capital assets and related operational processes. He provides financial expertise, counsel and customized solutions to help clients reach their complex goals. Additionally, Stephen works with a collaborative team of product managers, sales analysts, technical experts and implementation advisors to ensure a smooth transition and completion of services. Stephen rejoined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2006 after two years with a mortgage lender and previously six years with the Bank of America in government banking.

Registration

The meeting and lunch are included in the annual membership. All Members are eligible to bring a new one-time guest at no cost. Both members and guests must register. If the paid member cannot attend a meeting, a substitute may attend. Non-members pay the guest price of $55. Non-working students pay the student guest price of $15. Logistics
The meeting will take place at Washington Athletic Club (WAC) at 1325 Sixth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101. Meetings are two hours - networking begins at 11am, lunch is served at 11:30am and our program begins at 12pm.

NWAFP provides a 2-hour parking validation when parking in the WAC garage, 1409 Sixth Avenue. This is located a half-block north of the Clubhouse on Sixth Avenue.  (From I-5 South bound, exit Union Street, right on 6th and garage entrance on immediate left.  From I-5 North bound, exit Seneca, slight right on 6th, garage is two blocks north on left.)   The NWAFP encourages ride-sharing to its meetings.
