Description:
"Visualize. Play. Investigate." The Explorations in Mindsets learning experience will feature opportunities for teachers to participate in conceptual, visual mathematics and examine the deep student thinking that is possible with low-floor, high-ceiling mathematical tasks which engage students in visualizing, exploring and talking about the big mathematical ideas of each grade level.
Participants will receive both the 4th and 5th grade books in Jo Boaler's series Mindeset Mathematics: Visualizing and Investigating Big Ideas.
DATE: Thursday, March 21, 2019 (9:00 am - 4:00 pm EST)
Registration will no longer be available for this event after 11:59 pm on February 5, 2019.
