ABOUT THE PRESENTATION | Women in Metalcasting
Women in Metalcasting  is a 360 member-strong national interest group within the American Foundry Society.  Formed in 2014, this group is dedicated to support, promote and mentor  women who are pursuing or have chosen a career in the Metalcasting industry.  This group encourages the engagement of women who want to share perspectives, improve leadership and communication skills to network with industry peers.
Women in Metalcasting in both technical and management positions are essential for the sustainability of the industry, which means we have a lot of work to do to increase the number of women involved in the industry and retain them.  This presentation will discuss the beginning of the group, the current structure and the challenges that Women in Metalcasting have today
