Event Description
Youth experiencing homelessness on their own (unaccompanied homeless youth, or UHY) face significant barriers to accessing financial aid. The FAFSA Simplification Act provisions were intended to remove burdensome steps and streamline the process. This session will explore the latest data on FAFSA and homelessness, outline the updated processes for UHY determinations, and hear practical strategies for supporting students through financial aid access from an esteemed financial aid administrator panel.
