In PA, StationMD is a qualified provider of the Specialty Telehealth and Assessment Team (STAT) waiver service in the IDA waivers. STAT is a telehealth initiative introduced by ODP to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Available to participants in the Person/Family Directed Support (P/FDS), Community Living, and Consolidated Waiver programs, STAT offers 24/7 access to physicians experienced in the intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/A) population. These physicians provide consultative, disability-specific advice, assisting individuals and their caregivers in determining when to seek additional or in-person medical treatment. The STAT service aims to enhance healthcare accessibility and decision-making for individuals with ID/A by offering immediate, expert medical guidance through telehealth. This approach helps in triaging and evaluating medical conditions as needed, ensuring timely and appropriate care.
