Speaker Bio: Mike Castle brings a strong blend of hands-on grain market experience and advanced economic analysis to his work in agricultural inputs. Raised on a farm in Central Missouri, Mike began his career trading cash grain and managing elevators across the U.S., where he developed a practical, in-the-field understanding of grain merchandising and operations. He later transitioned into the fertilizer sector after joining StoneX in 2021, where he applies his deep grain market knowledge to broader ag input consulting. Mike earned his M.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, graduating summa cum laude with a minor in Business Analytics, giving him a strong analytical foundation to complement his real-world market expertise.
