This is an invitation to the Programs Committee meeting on 4 September 2026 at 1000-1100 (U.S. Eastern Time), chaired by the Programs Director in accordance with Article XI, paragraph G1 of the IAFIE Bylaws.
As outlined in the bylaws, the Programs Committee is responsible for planning the annual conference, identifying future venues, and collaborating with IAFIE members and Chapters to develop recommendations for special events, webinars, study groups, specialty interest groups, and other initiatives that advance our mission. This meeting will set the foundation for active member involvement across all program lines of effort.

- Draft Conference Playbook
- Draft Joint Conference Memorandum of Agreement Template
- CY2027 - Annual Conference (6-9 June 2027)
- CY2027 - Student Conference (TBD - MAR/APR 2027)
- Establishment of Sub-committees:
- CY27 - Annual Conference
- CY27 - Student Conference
- Industry Outreach
- Webinar/Interview Series
- Programs Strategic Plan
Your participation is essential as we begin shaping the CY2027 conference cycle, expand our webinar and interview series, and coordinate additional events that strengthen IAFIE’s global impact. The event will be recorded to afford those that cannot join the opportunity to watch at their earliest convenience.
