This is a rare opportunity to tour Pine Flat Dam. Tours are available on Tuesday, October 15, and Thursday, October 17. Each tour starts promptly at 9:30 a.m. and will last about 2 hours. Attendees will experience the impressive engineering of Pine Flat Dam, get an exclusive look inside the dam, and learn its history. Started in 1947 and completed in 1954, Pine Flat Dam has protected the valley from flooding, managed billions of gallons of irrigation and drinking water, and provided electricity to the valley since 1984 when the hydropower project was completed. Tour group sizes are limited so reserve your spot early.
