Event Description
The City of Grand Ledge and the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) have extended the deadline for the “Best of Grand Ledge 2022 Photo Contest”. Photographers of all ages and abilities now have until Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 11:59 pm to submit their images. The City invites photographers to enter up to five (5) of their best, high-resolution images that celebrate the vibrant and captivating scenes found within the Grand Ledge city limits. Individuals may only enter the photo contest one (1) time. Additional information, including the full contest rules, online entry process, and details on the cash prizes, can all be found at www.cityofgrandledge.com/410/Photo-Contest. Entries can be submitted now through the contest deadline of Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 11:59 pm.
Between November 3-17, 2022, photo entries will be made available on the City’s website for the public to vote for up to 10 of their favorite images. The City will compile 10 images receiving the most public votes and a committee comprised of members from the DDA will select the final winners and award the cash prizes. The 10 finalists will share the prize money with one (1) Grand Prize of $200.00, one (1) Runner-Up Prize of $100.00, and eight (8) Honorable Mention Prizes of $25.00 each. All winners will receive prizes and official recognition at a DDA meeting in December 2022.
