Please join us for NWAFP’s November 17th virtual meeting on How to Attract and Retain Treasury Talent in a Shifting Work Environment with our guest speakers Kris Erickson Co-Founder & Executive Consultant at Workforce Science, Mary Kirkpatrick, Brooks Sports, and Julie Boyd, Cambia Health Solutions. Kris will share information on what is truly important to employees right now and what is causing them to stay or leave an organization based on WSA data.  Mary and Julie will provide some background on what their company did to retain employees through these challenging times.


Kris Erickson, Co-Founder – Workforce Science Associates
Kris Erickson currently serves as co-founder and executive consultant for Workforce Science Associates. In this role, she empowers organizations to discover the unique drivers and motivational aspects that drive performance in their workforce and use these to accelerate a high-performance culture.

Prior to this role, Kris was a member of the leadership of IBM/Kenexa’s workforce sciences practice. She was responsible for ensuring client relevance related to behavioral science solutions including employee engagement research, leadership development, and assessment tools and consulting. She also served as an executive consultant for the assessment and survey practices within IBM. She was an integral part of strategic discussions with senior executives focusing on HR needs and using survey benchmarks, best practices, case studies, and other IBM research initiatives.
Kris has also served as the senior vice president of HR for a healthcare company and was instrumental in designing leading-edge human capital strategies that fueled the sustained 30% growth of the organization.

Kris has over 25 years of consulting experience with Fortune 500 companies. In this capacity, Erickson worked at both the strategic and tactical levels to develop and deploy comprehensive workforce solutions.
 
Mary Kirkpatrick – Brooks Running
Mary Kirkpatrick, MSA CPA, started her career in public accounting with Ernst and Young, LLP, auditing large SEC filing companies.  After EY, Mary spent several years in internal audit before transitioning into managing accounting departments as Corporate Controller.  As a Controller, Mary has worked in the home building and retail industries managing teams based in the US, Canada, UK and China.  Mary has a passion for people and seeing employees grow in their careers.  Part of that passion is mentoring and coaching managers on how to be effective leaders.

Julie Boyd - Cambia Health Solutions
Julie Boyd, MBA CPA CTP, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Treasury and Cash Management for Cambia Health Solutions.  Cambia is the parent to Regence, a regional Blue.  Julie started her career in the banking industry as a relationship manager to large market clients.  Julie then moved into the corporate arena in serving in various Treasury roles for mid to large organizations including Treasurer.  She has served as the leader of teams as small as 5 and as large as 20.
