MWEA Basic Training Classes (Multiple dates available) Basic training classes from MWEA carry several distinct differences from our conferences and one day seminars. They are conducted by a single instructor with a small class size and are currently offered as a hybrid option during the pandemic (up to 8 people in-person at the new MWEA office in Lansing) and around 20 can join virtually. Classes are all worth Wastewater Continuing Education Credits. |

MWEA / WEF Member Rate: $140
Non-member Rate: $230

These courses carry several distinct differences from our conferences and one day seminars. They are conducted by a single instructor with a small class size.
Note: These classes are deemed unrepeatable by EGLE – meaning CECs cannot be earned more than once in an operator’s certification cycle because the agenda and topics discussed do not change.
These classes are part of the MWEA Water Resource Recovery Technician (WRRT) Credential Program.
All of our Spring Basic Training classes are offered in a hybrid format - with some space available to join the instructor in-person at the MWEA Office in Lansing, or to join online through the Zoom platform. Based on the current executive orders, we will be able to have up to 8 in person attendees for all classes. Once the spots are full for the in-person option, the default option will be virtual through Zoom. Please note, the in-person class size is subject to change based on current orders.
