Many organizations often appoint individuals as trainers for forensic field training programs with little or no preparation.  Although Field Training Officer programs exist, most of these courses are loosely applicable to forensic units and/or restricted to sworn personnel.  This course is designed to fill the need for the Field Training Officer programs tailored to forensic disciplines.  This course will help you more effectively teach complex material to trainees, properly document procedures and events, and develop a structured training program.


DAY 1:  Cognitive/Adult Learning, Myers Briggs, Chronotypes, Learning Styles
DAY 2:  Ethics & Legal Implications, Liability & Safety, Responsibilites of Trainee, FTO & Supervisor
DAY 3:  Daily Observation Reports
DAY 4:  Top Training Mistakes, Building a Training Program
DAY 5:  Managing FTOs, Remedial Training, Evaluating a Training Program
