About the Instructor:
Dr. Lee Jacobs was an MSU Professor and Extension Specialist in the Department of Plant, Soil & Microbial Sciences for more than 35 years, specializing in the application of
biosolids, animal manure, and other organic residuals to land during this time. Dr. Jacobs has been teaching this workshop for over 35 years. His research had an applied focus in the areas of soil fertility and soil chemistry with special interests in organic residuals management and trace element chemistry in the soil-plant system.
