WASFAA Sister Dale Brown Summer Institute presents…

SDBSI 2020 Campfire Series – Intermediate Track

Helping Yourself to Help Others

With an increase in students requesting special circumstances appeals or uncertain how they will return to campus this fall, utilizing self-care as well as solid counseling techniques is a benefit to the student and you.

Join us for a discussion led by Jacquie Carroll, Ed.D., Director of Curriculum and Instruction at AccessLex Institute and adjunct faculty at Truckee Meadows Community College in Nevada. Dr. Carroll's session covers topics ranging from wellness practices to counseling techniques to considerations of cultural awareness and much more. You will have an opportunity to practice and personalize some approaches with your colleagues during breakout sessions. Join this session to learn best practices to achieve wellness for you, your colleagues, and your students during this challenging time.

Registration is limited to 50 for this free-to-members 90-minute event, portions of which will be recorded and available to members.
