The 10th Annual MWEA Paddle With Purpose will take place on Sunday, June 23, 2019, as a part of the Annual Conference. Canoe rentals will again be provided by Jordan Valley Outfitters, located at 311 N. Lake St. (M-66), East Jordan. We will be paddling the Jordan River from Graves Crossing Road to Rogers Road, a trip of about three hours. View the event flyer here.

The Paddle With Purpose event will raise funds for Water For People, a WEF charity of choice, whose mission is to promote the development of high quality drinking water and sanitation services, accessible to all, and sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments.

Details:Cost:
Canoe w/ Two Paddlers: $90 ($60 for canoe & transportation and $30 for Water for People)
Single Kayak: $55 (includes kayak & transportation as well as a donation to Water for People)
Double Kayak: $100 (includes kayak & transportation as well as a donation to Water for People)
You may also bring your own boat and donate $20 per person to Water for People.

Schedule:
Meet in Hotel Lobby for Transport to River: 11:45 AM
Estimated return to Boyne Mountain Resort: 5:30 PM

The deadline to register is May 22nd, 2019. You may register after this date, but there is no guarantee a boat will be available.
