The Facilitator is Tonda Thompson.
The KCM Foundations for Early Childhood Mathematics (Formerly K-EEMC) professional development features content developed by the Erikson Institute, leaders in early childhood education. Participants will learn how to spark children's mathematical learning though developmentally appropriate exploration, discussion and activity using high-impact, evidence-based strategies and children's literature which support the teaching and learning of early mathematics.
The KCM Foundations for Early Childhood Mathematics training includes 8 half-day training sessions that will take place from 12:00-3:00 pm, EST. The dates for each session are as follows:
Session 1: February 23
Session 2: March 9
Session 3: March 16
Session 4: March 23
Session 5: April 6 (Needed to be rescheduled - Spring Break)
Session 5: April 20 (originally session 6, but now session 5)
Session 6: April 27
Session 7: May 4
Session 8: May 18
Registration will no longer be available for this event after 11:59pm on December 12, 2018.
