This course introduces water treatment plant operators to membrane treatment processes, including microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, pretreatment, monitoring, cleaning, and maintenance. Participants will learn how membrane systems are operated, what conditions affect performance, how to recognize fouling or integrity concerns, and how to apply basic troubleshooting and process control concepts in real world treatment plant settings.
