Join the Virginia Turfgrass Foundation and other allied partners for the Virginia Tech Annual Blacksburg Field Day events on Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25.
Kick off the afternoon with a 3:00 PM shotgun start for 9 holes of Goatley Rules golf. Goatley Rules golf brings a fun, non-traditional twist with exciting challenges along the way. There will be both a front 9 and back 9 open to increase participation, along with the famous Crap Shot (longest drive sitting on a toilet prop) on the driving range and other entertaining challenges on the putting green.
In the evening, join industry friends at 6:00 PM for a welcome happy hour and networking dinner featuring food, drinks, music, and great company. It’s a relaxed opportunity to connect with the Virginia Tech Turfgrass Team, alumni, students, and industry professionals. Golf prizes and contest winners will be presented just before dinner.
