From its origins, both geologically & culturally, to its relationship that influenced Pueblo people, Navajo, Apache, Mexican & Eastern settlers, miners, and outlaws, the Rio Bravo was witness to the Old Wild West along its banks.
Sometimes lazily sometimes raging, the Rio Bravo flowed through the Rio Grande Valley carving its own place in time.
This story-telling event on March 7th, along the banks of the Rio, will recount the myths, legends and history along its now sleepy banks.
From the legend of the haunting ghost, La Llorona, to the history of early establishments of settlers and Native Indians, our native guide will weave stories and tales from the Old West.
