Event Description
Guests will enjoy a themed space‑history presentation, wine service, and a guided activity where they build their own model rocket while they sip, followed by a live model rocket launch from the museum grounds (weather permitting). This event is strictly for guests 21 and older; all attendees must present a valid government‑issued photo ID at check‑in, and IDs will be checked for every guest.

Thursday, February 12, 2026, for “Rockets and Rosé,” an adults‑only night of space history, wine, and a live model rocket launch at the New Mexico Museum of Space History, 3198 State Route 2001, Alamogordo, NM 88310 (second floor, Main Museum).
Event schedule:
5:00–5:30 PM – Doors open, check‑in and welcome; drink available
5:45 PM – Program begins
8:00 PM – Model rocket launch (weather, crowd size, and skill level dependent)
8:30 PM – Event concludes
