Event Description
The Armenian Balint Society is delighted to welcome you to join the Balint Spring Days in Yerevan, alongside the IBF Council meeting.
Yerevan, one of the most ancient cities in the world still full of life, carries within its foundations centuries of endurance and renewal. Armenia, with its rich traditions, sacred landmarks, and unbroken spirit, has shaped a culture of continuity and transformation. From the traces of pagan temples and the birth of Christianity to today’s vibrant capital, Yerevan embodies a living story of resilience and revival.
With this spirit in mind, we invite you to come together and reflect on the theme: “From Vulnerability to Resilience in Balint Groups” Balint groups create a space where professionals can bring moments of doubt, difficulty, and vulnerability from their clinical work. Within the safe and reflective environment of the group, these experiences are witnessed, shared, and gradually transformed. Attentive listening and collective reflection enable vulnerability to become a source of strength, opening the way for resilience to grow — both for the practitioner and for the therapeutic encounter. This process highlights how Balint work strengthens our ability to support others while sustaining ourselves.
We warmly look forward to welcoming you to Armenia and to sharing with you the unique spirit of Yerevan — a city of ancient roots and living renewal — as we come together for meaningful exchange and dialogue.
