Alamogordo, New Mexico—Music, dance, costumes, children, Christmas….the Nutcracker, right? NO. In New Mexico, it’s Mariachi Christmas! At the Flickinger, it’s been a tradition since 1999.
Founded by Noberta Fresquez in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mariachi Christmas, tells the story of Christmas which includes regional and traditional folklore. The program includes Mariachi Music, Dance and some of the most revered December traditions from various regions in Mexico. Join us as we venture on the December journey through Mexico and time. Mariachi Christmas is narrated in English.
