ANCOR will host a national briefing to discuss the key findings from The State of America’s Direct Support Workforce Crisis 2025 report. This report marks the sixth consecutive year ANCOR has measured the ongoing effects of the direct support workforce crisis on community-based providers serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This year’s report highlights longitudinal trends and persistent challenges facing providers nationwide, including staffing shortages, wage disparities, and the growing pressures on organizations striving to maintain high-quality, person-centered care amid systemic workforce constraints. During the briefing, ANCOR’s Government Relations team will outline how members can use the report’s findings to strengthen advocacy efforts and drive policy action that supports the direct support workforce.
