Join us for a session led by Bruce Alberts, former president of the National Academy of Sciences focused on trust in science. In May 2024, Bruce coauthored “Why Trust Science”, which focused on the aspects of the scientific process that make it unique and therefore trustworthy. A set of teaching tools complementing this essay are also available. After hearing from Bruce, we will have an open discussion that may span multiple topics including needs of state academies relevant to this space, and opportunities for shared learning.
