We will discuss in detail the process of purging evidence such as firearms, narcotics, cell phones/computers/other electronic devices, currency, biohazards, ammunition, records, digital media, vehicles, chemicals, collectables and more.
You will also learn about additional “purging” methods like auctions, donations, converting items to agency use and seals and expungements.
Please be open to share your experiences and evidence purging processes. This will allow for agencies in close proximity to be more informed on what disposal services are available in their area.
The Evidence Purge Party webinar is intended for those who:
- Feel uncomfortable with or unsure about purging evidence properly
- Want to increase the number of items they purge annually
- Dispose of purged items in the trash (a big NO NO!) without considering the nature of the items
- Are responsible for purging evidence at their agency and want to feel confident in their training to complete that task
- Have never received training for purging evidence and are just winging it!
