This three day training class is designed to prepare a crime scene unit, it's members, and it's supervisors of tips and techniques to prepare ahead of time to enure you have enough resources at your disposal.  Most crime scene units have 10 or fewer investigators and when your agency has an M C I you will quickly learn you need help.  This class teaches not only how to obtain that help ahead of time, but also how to manage that many people in a controlled and professional manor while still maintining focus on tackling the task at hand.  Through the use of case studies, round table exercises, and mock scenes, the attendees learn, and then put into use, skills that make all of this possible.  This class is IAI certified for 24 credit hours.  Students from previous classes rave about the class and even those who have had an M C I in thier jurisdiction have found many useful ideas.

The class starts with case studies on three M C I events that the instructors have personally worked.  The good, the bad, and the ugly will be disucssed and lessons learned will be shared. Additionally topics such as dealing with mental health concerns of crime scene investigators will be discussed.   The class will be involved in several round table exercises and will slowly be introduced to more information throughout the training so the learning process is easy.  Class participation is important and each attendee will have a part in doing presentations from any one of the exercises or round tables that are done.  The class culiminates with the entire class working a large scale mock scene using the strategies that were taught during the class.  The cost of this three-day in person class is only $479.00 if you use code OC25 when you checkout online.
