The Diversity in Water Speaker Series invites leaders in Ohio’s water industry from diverse backgrounds to discuss their careers, lend us their life lessons, and help lead the discussion on championing diversity within the water industry and in our day-to-day lives. Diversity in Water Speaker Series: Anil Tangirala Date / Time: Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 5:30 – 6:30PM, ET Anil Tangirala is the Director of Water Resources at ms consultants Inc. in Columbus, Ohio . Anil is a Professional Engineer, Certified Floodplain Manager and ENVISION Sustainable Professional with 21 years of experience in water resources engineering. His expertise is in floodplain management, flood mitigation, Stormwater management and design, green infrastructure design, hydrologic, hydraulic , water quality modeling and watershed management. Mr. Tangirala graduated with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Kentucky and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from S.K. University in India. Mr. Tangirala is the Past Chair for Water Environment Federation Stormwater Congress and is a member of the WEF Stormwater Symposia of the Program Committee. Mr. Tangirala is also the current Chair of the Ohio Water Environment Federation Watershed Committee.
