DESCRIPTION:NMPED Regional CLNA (Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment) Meeting\n\n01/22/26 09:00 AM MST\n - 01/22/26 01:00 PM MST\Description:\n\n\Details:\nWhat is the CLNA, and why does it matter?\nThe CLNA is the required process we use to review regional labor market data and stakeholder input to determine which CTE programs are considered priority and eligible for funding.\n\nAlamogordo CTE is supported primarily through two grant sources:\n\n\n	\n	Perkins (federal funds)\n	\n	\n	Next Gen (state flow-through funds)\n	\n\n\nUnder Perkins requirements, we can only use Perkins dollars to support programs identified as priorities through the CLNA process. That means funding eligibility can shift over time as workforce needs change, so it’s critical that the people who hire, train, and understand local Alamogordo industries are part of the conversation.\n\nWhy your voice is important\nLabor market data is essential, but it doesn’t always capture everything happening on the ground, such as emerging industries, hiring challenges, new credentials, or changing skill demands. Your input helps ensure that our CTE programs remain aligned with real workforce needs and that we continue to invest in the right pathways for students and employers.\n\nCurrent fundable priority areas (subject to change through the CLNA process):\n\nState Priorities (applies to Perkins and NextGen participants in program years 24–25 and 25–26)\n\n\n	\n	Management & Entrepreneurship\n	\n	\n	Education\n	\n	\n	Digital Technology\n	\n\n\nRegional Priorities (Region H – based on labor market data and regional input)\n\n\n	\n	Agriculture\n	\n	\n	Healthcare & Human Services\n	\n	\n	Public Service & Safety\n	\n\n\nLocal Priority (Alamogordo Public Schools)\n\n\n	\n	Building Trades\n	\n\n\nAdditional reference: Perkins Funding - Priority Programs\n\nRegistration link: https://forms.gle/K9XXvLToXGxhkFau9\n\nIf you have questions about the CLNA, how priorities are set, or how this impacts local programs, I’m happy to discuss it with you. Thank you for supporting career pathways that meet the needs of our region! Your participation truly makes a difference.\n\nRespectfully,\nAnna Alday\nCTE & Work-Based Learning Coordinator\nAlamogordo Public Schools\n\Location:\nENMU - Ruidoso\n709 Mechem Drive\nRuidoso, NM 88345

<br />Details:<br /><p><strong>What is the CLNA, and why does it matter?</strong><br />
The CLNA is the required process we use to review&nbsp;<strong>regional labor market data</strong>&nbsp;and stakeholder input to determine which&nbsp;<strong>CTE programs are considered priority and eligible for funding</strong>.</p>

<p>Alamogordo CTE is supported primarily through two grant sources:</p>

<ul>
	<li>
	<p><strong>Perkins</strong>&nbsp;(federal funds)</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p><strong>Next Gen</strong>&nbsp;(state flow-through funds)</p>
	</li>
</ul>

<p>Under Perkins requirements, we can only use Perkins dollars to support programs identified as priorities through the CLNA process.&nbsp;<strong>That means funding eligibility can shift over time</strong>&nbsp;as workforce needs change,&nbsp;so it&rsquo;s critical that the people who hire, train, and understand local&nbsp;<u>Alamogordo</u>&nbsp;industries&nbsp;are part of the conversation.</p>

<p><strong>Why your voice is important</strong><br />
Labor market data is essential, but it doesn&rsquo;t always capture everything happening on the ground,&nbsp;such as emerging industries, hiring challenges, new credentials, or changing skill demands.
