This workshop is both a demonstration of techniques and experiencing each step for themselves, resulting in take home projects, both laminate (matted and sleeved) and gel sealed (on wood and cardboard) and resources to continue this art form on one's own. A comprehensive take home package is included, with a complete resource sheet.\n\nArtist Bio:\nSusan McChesney is a pressed flower artist living, making art, and teaching her techniques in western NC. A longtime educator, she worked for 24 years at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Using pressed petals like strokes of paint, she creates landscape images reminiscent of WNC. Producing originals, prints, note cards, and jigsaw puzzles, her work is available in a variety of WNC galleries and shops in addition to her website Shop.
