Join us on January 28, 2025 at the Von Braun Center's South Hall Ballrooms for the Pineapple Dinner & Awards Ceremony.\n \nDuring this annual event, HMCHA recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of hospitality professionals in the Huntsville/Madison County community. Each year, the organization holds the Pineapple Awards ceremony to honor members who have exhibited outstanding achievement and professionalism in the hospitality industry. In addition to the awards, HMCHA also provides annual educational and professional development scholarships during the event. \n\nFollowing the awards presentation which includes: Red Ribbon, Pineapple, and Scholarships; the Association will install new officers, report the status of the organization, and celebrate a great past year.\n\nIf you'd like to nominate someone for an Award, please be sure to look for the email with a link to the forms by the end of the week. You may also email info@huntsvillehospitality.org for more information or to request the link. NOMINATIONS/SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JANUARY 17th!\n\nOne of the major highlights of the evening will be the scholarships - we award up to $5,000 in total! Please be sure to share the scholarship applications with your employees, coworkers or children. All details and criteria are detailed on the application form. Every little bit helps when it comes to tuition, so be sure to help us spread the word by sharing the applications.\n\nIt's always a great night of conversation and celebration with all of our fellow hospitality friends. We hope you join us and invite others you know who would benefit from being inspired during this amazing annual event. \n\nSingle seats and table reservations will be avilable January 1st!\n\nNEW THIS YEAR:\n• For the first time ever, we're offering sponsorship opportunities! If you would like to put your business in front of our local hospitality industry's finest, then email president@huntsvillehospitality.org today for more information.\n\n• Like everyone in our industry, we are still feeling the lingering effects of the pandemic. Our Association has always relied heavily on our annual fundraiser, Taste of Huntsville, as a way to not only connect and celebrate the local food scene but to also raise money for scholarships which are awarded at the Pineapple Dinner. The last Taste of Huntsville was held in 2019 and while we have tried a couple of times to relaunch the event, we've heard from our members that staffing and budget constraints are still impacting participation. With that being said, we are incorporating a Silent Auction into this year's Pineapple Dinner & Awards Ceremony! If you would like to help support the Association and make a contribution to the auction or would like to volunteer and help secure items, please email snielsen@vonbrauncenter.com.
