Description:
Chaired by Harriet Edwards it investigates how other organizations share information and support, while establishing criteria by which ALIVE will make decisions about partnerships on behalf of ALIVE.
Details:
Key Elements/Primary Work:
•In cooperation with Advocacy Workgroup, strategize potential collaborative activities between AL!VE and partners
•Develop criteria by which collaborative agreements are evaluated and implemented
•Review proposals
•Present proposed collaborations and/or partnerships to the board for approval
Preferred interests and Skills:
•Respect for and belief in the importance of the volunteer management profession
•Experience in writing policies and procedures
•Knowledge of risk management and other legal issues
•Ability to evaluate proposal and contractual relationships
•Interest in and understanding of current events affecting the field of volunteerism and volunteer management
•Wide range of experience in volunteering and management
•Broad minded in approach
