The SOGIE Committee is committed to equal and responsive treatment for LGBTQ+ youth, their families, and Juvenile Justice professionals, by incorporating the use of evidence-based practices, educating youth and professionals, forming comprehensive policies and procedures, and creating an inclusive environment throughout all phases of the Juvenile Justice System.
