The committee is responsible for identifying individuals (Chiefs, Deputy Chiefs, Supervisors, Probation Officers, and Support Staff) within the organization who, upon retiring, are recognized for their years of service and commitment to the Juvenile Justice system. Individuals are recognized with a plaque or a certificate at a general membership meeting.

Committee is also responsible for sending expressions of sympathy and/or condolences to members and/or their families.

Committee chair disperses information to Chiefs regarding members via website email system.
