Description:
The Provider Sub-Committee is responsible for sponsoring a forum in which Juvenile Justice Service Providers are able to meet with Chief Juvenile Probation Officers to discuss current issues, problems, and system changes. It is also a means for the Chiefs' Council to communicate with the provider community.
The Provider Sub-Committee works to keep the provider community connected to the Chiefs' Council in order to complete goals. This is accomplished through hosting the Provider Forum up to four times a year, generally the day prior to the General Membership meeting.
Current Goal/Initiative:
Utilize the Provider forum to communicate the latest updates to the Juvenile Justice System Enhancement Strategy, and to advance best practices working with youth in the juvenile justice system.
Membership:
This committee is not currently looking for new members; however, attendance at the Provider Forums is greatly appreciated
