2019 Conference on Tourism & Redbud Awards
An annual educational event that helps Oklahoma's tourism industry work together to grow our attractions and communities. The Redbud Awards are the highest honor given in the Oklahoma tourism industry. This award celebrates Oklahoma's top tourism entities.

Destination Capitol Hill: 2019
Representatives from Oklahoma met with delegates from across the country attending the U.S. Travel Association's Destination Capitol Hill. Travel leaders met with policymakers to educate them about the power of travel. Destination Capitol Hill provides delegates with an opportunity to learn about upcoming legislation that impacts travel, network with peers and meet with members of Congress to stress the importance of travel as an economic driver.

2/6/19 A Tasteful Affair Legislative Reception
Members of the Oklahoma Restaurant Association, Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association, and Oklahoma Travel Industry Association gathered with legislators for a relaxed evening at the biggest legislative reception in the state. 

2/6/19 Hospitality Day at the Capitol
Members of the Oklahoma Restaurant Association, Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association, and Oklahoma Travel Industry Association gathered at the State Capitol and spoke to legislators about issues facing our industry.

10/29/18 Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summit, Enid
The final OTIA’s Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summits was held on October 29 at the Enid Central National Bank Center. These half-day programs provide tourism education featuring speakers covering a range of topics on best practices to promote tourism in your region, and include a townhall-type discussion by the Lt. Governor on tourism development in each of the areas visited around the state.

10/22/18 Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summit, El Reno
The first of OTIA’s Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summits was held on October 22 at the El Reno Public Safety Center. These half-day programs provide tourism education featuring speakers covering a range of topics on best practices to promote tourism in your region, and include a townhall-type discussion by the Lt. Governor on tourism development in each of the areas visited around the state.

7/19/18 Odyssey de Culinaire Tulsa
The ORA hosted Odyssey de Culinaire on July 19 at the River Spirit Casino Resort. Attendees enjoyed a “Loclahoma: Featuring Local Oklahoma Farms & Friends” menu theme.

7/12/18 Odyssey de Culinaire OKC
The beautiful Skirvin Hilton Hotel was the location for the OKC Odyssey dinner. Chefs did a great job with the French “Ode to Bocuse: A Celebration of the Life and Recipes of Paul Bocuse” theme and attendees enjoyed their evening.

5/15/18 RedBud Awards Gala
OTIA held its annual RedBud Awards gala at the Oklahoma History Center on May 15, 2018. Open to all Oklahoma tourism entities, the RedBud Awards represent the highest honor given in the Oklahoma tourism industry. The awards recognize Oklahoma's top tourism attractions, events, programs and organizations for outstanding efforts to serve and promote Oklahoma's tourism industry.

5/14-15/18 Oklahoma Conference on Tourism
Tourism professionals from across the state gathered on May 14 and 15, 2018 for the Oklahoma Conference on Tourism, an annual event that helps Oklahoma's tourism industry work together to grow our attractions and communities. Between OTIA's Annual Meeting, eleven educational sessions, a trade show, networking opportunities, and the RedBud Awards gala, attendees had a great time!

3/21-22/18 Destination Capitol Hill
OTIA members traveled to Washington, DC for the U.S. Travel Association's Destination Capitol Hill, the travel industry's premier legislative fly-in. DCH is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for industry professionals to learn about upcoming legislation that impacts travel, network with industry colleagues, and meet with Members of Congress to stress the importance of travel as an economic driver.

2/7/18 Hospitality Day/Legislative Reception
Members of the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association, Oklahoma Restaurant Association, and Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association spoke to legislators about issues facing our industry, and then ended the day with the biggest legislative reception in the state. 

10/30/17 Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summit, Tahlequah
The third and final Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summits, hosted by the Tahlequah Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, was held on October 30 at the Tahlequah Event Center. These half-day programs provide tourism education featuring speakers covering a range of topics on best practices to promote tourism in your region, and include a townhall-type discussion by the Lt. Governor on tourism development in each of the areas visited around the state.

10/23/17 Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summit, Sulphur
OTIA’s second Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summits was held on October 23 at the Chickasaw Retreat & Conference Center in Sulphur. These half-day programs provide tourism education featuring speakers covering a range of topics on best practices to promote tourism in your region, and include a townhall-type discussion by the Lt. Governor on tourism development in each of the areas visited around the state.

10/9/17 Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summit, Guymon
The first of OTIA’s Lt. Governor's Travel & Tourism Summits was held on October 9 at the Guymon Public Library & Arts Center. These half-day programs provide tourism education featuring speakers covering a range of topics on best practices to promote tourism in your region, and include a townhall-type discussion by the Lt. Governor on tourism development in each of the areas visited around the state.

7/27/17 Odyssey de Culinaire OKC
The beautiful Skirvin Hilton Hotel was the location for the OKC Odyssey dinner. Chefs did a great job with the “Regional Fusion” theme and attendees enjoyed their evening.

7/20/17 Odyssey de Culinaire Tulsa
The OTIA hosted Odyssey de Culinary on July 20 at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel. Attendees enjoyed a “Sunday Supper“ menu theme.
