Farrier Education Fund

The National Farrier of the Year Award has been created to honor the accomplishments of a farrier to the farrier and equine industries, relationships (mentoring), and commitment to continuing education. The National Farrier of the Year must be a resident of the United States and also shoe horses in the United States.

Please help us to fully consider the Nominee, please include attachments, such as magazine articles, support letters, pictures, and other works that will highlight the nominee's contributions to the farrier and equine industries.

The awarding of the "National Farrier of the Year" will occur on the evening of Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Kappy Kaplan Recognition Dinner, Wellington International, Wellington, Florida. If needed, arrangements may be made for transportation and lodging from the recipient's home to Wellington, Florida. Providing a video feed may be used should travel arrangements not be practical.
