Elena Orlenova

Elena Orlenova has had many exhibits of her work which have included the Bass Concert Hall at University of Texas and Lost Pines Art Center. She works in paint, illustrations, silk art and murals. Her artwork is inspired by many of the writings of her mother, a published poet. She also specializes in photo-realistic oil paintings of scenes nature which capture the spectacular up close detail.
Elena was born in 1972 and grew up in Uzbekistan- one of the former Soviet Union republics. She graduated Tashkent Republican Art College named after Pavel Benkov. This was followed by her master?s degree of Art in Interior Design at Tashkent National Institute of Art and Design named after Kamalletdin Behzod. Her art depicts culture of this area which included many of the ancient ?Silk Road? cities. After graduation Elena worked in Ijod Dunyosi Publishing House as a graphic designer and illustrator several years. Elena moved to US in 2005 where she continues her art career.
