Schedule:            2:30 – 3:00           Gear up (please plan for season traffic to keep the event on schedule)

                                                3:00 – 5:00           Paddle

                                                5:00                        Picnic


Cost:                      $40 per person (includes boating and picnic)

                                $20 per person (includes picnic)

Kids under 12 are free

Directions:          From I-75 take exit 210 for Fruitville Rd (FL-780) west. Continue on Fruitville Rd (FL-780) west.  Turn left onto US-41/N Tamiami Trail.  Turn right onto N Gulf Stream Ave. Turn left on S Washington Dr (before St. Armands Circle). Turn left on Blvd of Presidents. Turn left onto Taft Dr into Ted Sperling Park and continue to end of parking lot. kayak launch is located at the end of the parking lot on the right.


the Florida Water Festival is a unique learning opportunity for children and adults alike.  The free to attend event is designed to educate the public at large of the importance of protecting Florida’s precious water resources.
